On Tuesday, 25 February 2020, the Abu Dhabi Human Resources Authority organized the "Emiratisation Units Forum" with the participation of directors and representatives of Emiratisation units for more than 70 government agencies in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

On Tuesday, 25 February 2020, the Abu Dhabi Human Resources Authority organized the "Emiratisation Units Forum" with the participation of directors and representatives of Emiratisation units for more than 70 government agencies in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The agenda of the Forum focused on presenting the performance of Emiratisation in the Emirate for the end of last year 2019, reviewing all Emiratisation projects and initiatives, reviewing the performance of agencies in filling vacancies, job replacement plans, training and volunteer programs, and following up the needs of the labor market for the next ten years, in addition to highlighting the circulars and decisions issued and supportive of Emiratisation affairs, the challenges facing government agencies and companies in implementing their Emiratisation plans, finding targeted solutions, making the necessary recommendations in this regard, studying the future needs of the labor market and training programs that can be implemented for job seekers.

 

The organization of the Forum which brings together specialists from government agencies in the field of Emiratisation, was held based on the Authority’s belief in the importance and effectiveness of joint institutional work and in line with the aspirations and governmental efforts of the Emirate. Through the Forum's pillars, the challenges, experiences and government expertise are identified, and the development of opinions and proposals are collected to contribute in unifying efforts to continue promoting the Emiratisation process in government jobs in the Emirate.

It should be noted that the Human Resources Authority is constantly coordinating with government agencies and companies in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi regarding the implementation of plans to employ citizens, develop their skills, raise their competencies and practical experience, determine the targeted Emiratisation rates, follow up those plans on a regular basis, and ensure the extent of its implementation, in an effort to achieve the Emirate’s vision aiming to activate the participation of national cadres in the labor market in its various fields.
