Since the Human Resources Authority keens to strengthen and upgrade strategic partnership relations with all partners, the Policies and Institutional Development Sector organized a workshop for the employees of the human resources and legal affairs departments in government agencies, with the aim of unifying employment contracts in the agencies for employees who receive their salaries from the “job budget” and to review the observations of government agencies to ensure the optimal application of those contracts when issued.
During the workshop, the proposed employment contracts forms that will be issued in conjunction with the issuance of the executive regulations of Law No. 6 of 2016, were reviewed, which are contracts regulating an employment relationship, an employment contract, a military retired employment contract, a temporary employment contract, and a trained graduate contract.
The participants in the workshop reviewed the procedures and controls regarding the various employment contracts represented in the obligation of each employee to sign the contract form within a month from the date of the issuance of the circular, as applicable. The above-mentioned forms of employment contracts shall apply to every employee who receives his salary from the “job budget”, and signing the “contract regulating an employment relationship” does not prejudice all the acquired rights of the employee, and it is not permissible to appoint except to a vacant job.
